Chunky Cheviot Wool Yarn for Regular Punch Needle (Value Dyed)

£12.50

100% Chunky Cheviot Value Dyed Yarn - 4 ply. (Weight varies slight on each group but is approx 118-121 grams). Each little skein is approx 20g. This yarn is best used with the Oxford Regular Punch Needle.

It has been so much fun learning how to value dye yarn using the Wooly Mason Jar method. It is great for shading, particularly with the fall colour on leaves. I love 100% wool yarn because of the texture and depth of colour it gives to a finished piece, as well as its durability. This is a high quality yarn that endures the test time so you will continue to enjoy the pieces you create for years to come.

There are many advantages to using wool and as HM King Charles Campaign for wool states, it has many benefits. “It is a natural insulator, renewable, breathable, biodegradable, resilient and elastic, easy care and odour resistant. “

This is 100% Romney chunky wool that is perfect for punching with the Oxford Regular Punch Needle. It can be used to make rugs for the floor as well as cushions, foot stool covers, seat pads, wall hangings, etc. wool
