Gripper Strips for Punch Needle Rug Hooking

One Gripper Strip (40" long) - (1 strip)

These gripper strips are high quality and made in the USA by Howard Brush Company, specifically for use with punch needle and rug hooking They are graded EH4 and work best with monks cloth, linen or weavers cloth. They are 40” in length (just over 1 metre).

These strips can be used to make your own frame. They need to be attached to the frame at a slightly curved angle which enables the teeth to open up and maximise the grip of the fabric. This then allows you to get your fabric extremely taut on the frame, making punch needle easier on yours wrists and

Please note the teeth on the strips are very sharp, it is important to cover your frame once the fabric is stretched over to avoid injury.
